If you live in a mobile home, substandard home, or your home is surrounded by trees, make plans now to evacuate. The Hamilton County High School gymnasium will open today at 5:00 PM. Please take your bedding, medications and any personal items you may need. You may take your dog and/or cat, but they must be in a cage and you will need to take their food, bowls and leash. You are responsible for the care of your pet. Pets will be housed in separate location. You are not allowed to bring them into the gym. Sandbags are available for senior and disabled residents at the Hamilton County Road Dept. others may self-fill 10 bags per home behind the courthouse annex. Emergency traffic will cease operations when winds reach 40 mph. Power outages will be throughout the county and trees will be down. You need to be in place by noon tomorrow.
