I would like to address the traffic problems at the intersection of 25A and Diamond Street/Jackson Street. Actually, as far as from 41 to this intersection and further down 25A. Speeding is horrible, running through the intersection time and time again. We have lived here almost 1 year and this is not a new problem. A couple of pets have been hit and killed. We have children and grandchildren! Having a policeman sit there does nothing as we all know. One policeman said, “no matter where they sit they know that they’re there”. We need speed bumps, or strips or humps!!! Other areas of this town have them on less busy roads. If you would like signatures from people in the area I will get them. Please help us with this situation. We don’t want anyone to lose their lives especially a child. Something needs to be done. I would appreciate a response.

    Hi Mrs. Schneider,
Thank you for your comments to improve the safety of the community. There will be a workshop to discuss your concerns. During a workshop, the council gathers information from the public for further action. They do not actually vote during workshops. You will be notified of the date and time of the workshop. Thanks again.
